Hey there!
When we hear the words 'Cherry Blossoms,' our minds often drift to Japan. But did you know that there's an Indian state that hosts an annual Cherry Blossom festival? This is a place where every corner has a tale to tell, where the rain washes the streets, and where music flows as naturally as the mountain streams.
Yes, I'm referring to Meghalaya, and this state is gearing up to host this year's festival in Shillong from November 17 to 19. Started back in 2016, this festival draws thousands of visitors each year. It showcases the enchanting autumn bloom of Himalayan cherry blossoms, draping the city in a delicate pink and white quilt. The festival also boasts an array of cultural and musical events, including fashion shows, concerts, beauty contests, delectable food stalls, and much more.
Here’s your complete guide to experience this unique festival in November 2023.
